A Study On Group Work On Community Integration Of Elderly People In Rural Migrant Communitie

In recent years,with the rapid development of national economy,the process of urbanization has been further improved.As the product of urbanization development and social transformation,rural resettlement community has a special community form.Compared with the past,the living environment,life style and customs of community residents have undergone great changes.After the long-term scattered farmers living in rural areas move into the new clustered communities,a series of community integration problems occur.Therefore,it has become an urgent and meaningful social topic to understand the community integration difficulties and actual living needs of residents in rural resettlement communities and to promote their better integration into the new community environment.Taking community C in H City as an example,this study has a preliminary understanding of the current situation of community integration of residents in rural resettlement communities through field visits and in-depth interviews,and finds that the elderly group in the community has more typical problems of community integration.From the perspectives of individual,family,community and society,social workers found that the elderly in rural migrant communities generally have problems such as lack of personal identity,weak family interaction,low participation in community affairs and low willingness to social communication.Based on the investigation,analysis and needs assessment of the community integration of the elderly in rural resettlement communities,guided by the theory of empowerment and social support,the author carried out group activities to promote the community integration of the elderly in rural resettlement communities by the method of group work.This service mainly focuses on promoting the sense of personal identity of the elderly in rural resettlement communities,realizing good communication and interaction among family members,improving their participation in community affairs and enhancing their social communication intentions,and so on.There are six group activities in total.Use the collective sense of atmosphere and the interaction of team members and other ways to guide the elderly know self into the problems in their community,encourage team members in the group activities explore their potential and advantages,and strengthen their confidence,support to guide the elderly relax during group activities,integrated into the team,and actively integrate into the community.In the service,social workers have always been in line with the core concept of "helping others and helping themselves" to constantly improve the content of activities,but there are still deficiencies in mobilizing the enthusiasm of group members,strengthening the service effect and differentiated treatment of group members.
