Practical Research On Case Work Intervention In Community Life Adaptation Of Elderly Landless Farmers Living In Villages

Today,with the rapid development of urbanization,more villagers have separated from the farmland they have cultivated for generations and become landless farmers.Landless farmers who have lost their homes come to live in the community,and the "village to house" community came into being.Among them,the elderly landless farmers living in the "village to house" community have become a special group that needs attention because of their older age and relatively poor adaptability.Therefore,taking a "village to house" community in Northeast China as an example,this paper intervenes the community adaptation of elderly landless farmers by establishing social support network and ABC rational emotional therapy.Through participatory observation and interview,this paper investigates the landless elderly in community a and finds that some landless elderly in community a have strong maladjustment after moving into the community.Their maladjustment is mainly reflected in the emotional needs,individual adaptability,external environment and so on.These maladjustment are embodied in the economic problems,interpersonal problems,identity problems and psychological problems of the landless elderly in the "village to house" community.Therefore,this paper selects granny liang from community a as the research object and intervention subject of this study,and uses the Geriatric Depression Scale(GDS)and the diagnostic scale of community adaptability to measure the subject and the corresponding practical intervention,.Through the investigation of the actual situation of the case owner,it is found that the main reason for the maladjustment of the case owner’s community life is the change of living environment,the case owner’s inferiority complex and lack of social support.Therefore,firstly,ABC rational therapy is used to improve the irrational belief of the case owner,eliminate the sense of inferiority and restore self-confidence;Secondly,establish social support to alleviate the loneliness of the case owner,so that the case owner can better integrate into the community life.Finally,encourage the case owner to join the group activities,learn smart phones and strengthen the contact with new and old friends.At the same time,this paper also summarizes and reflects on the research theme,intervention methods,theoretical application and social workers themselves,and puts forward relevant suggestions to promote the elderly landless farmers to adapt to community life.This paper uses case work to help elderly landless farmers adapt to community life,and has achieved remarkable results.It is hoped that this paper can provide new ideas for the adaptation of the landless elderly to the community life of "village to residence",so that the case owner can make positive changes in the community life,better adapt to the community life,and accumulate practical experience for social work.
