Ancient poetry is an important part of primary school Chinese teaching.As the treasure of traditional Chinese culture,the refined language,beautiful artistic conception and rich emotion of ancient poetry have far-reaching significance to the improvement of primary school students’ Chinese literacy,so we must attach importance to the role of ancient poetry teaching.In recent years,with the in-depth development of primary school curriculum education reform,the teaching of ancient poetry is also facing new goals and challenges.The senior section of primary school is the connecting stage for students to enter middle school and also the key stage of ancient poetry teaching.As an important part of ancient poetry,image is not only the concentrated embodiment of "poetic painting",but also an important entry point and starting point to cultivate students’ poetry appreciation ability.Therefore,how to grasp the important role of image in the teaching of ancient poetry in primary school senior,and find feasible strategies to strengthen the teaching of ancient poetry image,is worth the majority of Chinese educators to explore the topic.The full text is divided into four parts,the first part is the introduction.Based on the latest requirements of Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)for the teaching of Chinese ancient poetry,the background of the topic is expounded.The purpose and significance of this research are described.The research ideas and methods are introduced.Sorted out the research status;Define the core concepts.In the second part,teachers and students from six primary schools in X County are taken as test samples to investigate the actual situation of image teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools by means of questionnaire survey,interview and classroom observation.The third part,based on the above survey results,analyzes the problems in various aspects of image teaching in the senior section of primary school,including the cognitive deviation of image teaching,the shallow content of image teaching and the lack of effective image teaching methods.This paper probes into the causes of the problems,including some teachers’ weak concept of image teaching,the lack of emphasis on image teaching,the lack of skills in image teaching and the lack of necessary guidance and support in schools.The fourth part focuses on the causes of each problem,puts forward specific teaching strategies,changes the teaching concept of the ancient poetry image,optimizes the teaching preparation of the ancient poetry image,and innovates the teaching method of the ancient poetry image.
