As a new mode of teaching,"group reading" is popular among teachers for its innovative ideas.Compared with traditional reading teaching,group reading is more concerned with the development needs of students’ core literacy,allowing students to form their own aesthetic interpretations through independent reading of a large number of texts and collective construction between teachers and students under the umbrella of multiple reading ideas,and enhancing students’ text integration and interpretation skills.This enriches the reading teaching model and promotes the renewal of reading teaching concepts.The teaching of modern prose reading has always been a key teaching task for high school language teachers,and it has farreaching significance and value in cultivating students’ literary literacy,quality of thinking,imagination,interest in life,and spiritual heritage.By incorporating group reading into the teaching of modern prose,students can further stimulate their interest in encountering and reading prose texts,and then deeply feel,experience and explore the unique charm and aesthetic value of modern prose,thus promoting their own inquiry ability and aesthetic literacy.Based on this,this thesis is based on the actual situation of modern prose reading teaching in high school,and through action research,it actively explores the value and significance of "group reading" in high school modern prose reading teaching and implementation strategies,hoping to provide useful teaching ideas for high school teachers’ group teaching practice.This thesis consists of the following parts: the introduction part mainly describes the origin of the study,the significance of the study,the review of the study,the research method and related core concepts;the first chapter takes the high school teachers and students in the school where the author’s internship is located as the main object of investigation,and investigates the current situation of the application of "group reading" in the front line,summarizes the problems that exist in practice,and conducts an attribution analysis to provide a realistic basis for the action research of group reading teaching;Chapter two attempts to apply group reading to the practical teaching of modern prose in high school by conducting two rounds of action research,including the specific process of the two rounds of action,the summary and reflection on the effects of the action;Based on the problems and the results of the action research,Chapter three proposes specific implementation strategies at three levels: standardizing teachers’ implementation paradigms,cultivating students’ reading awareness,and increasing schools’ support,and points out the issues of attention in the process of teaching modern prose group reading in high school.It is hoped that it will provide some reference and help for teachers’ specific practice in frontline teaching,and promote the better development of high school modern prose group reading teaching.
