Modern prose reading has always been a difficult point in Chinese learning in senior high school.The goal of prose learning in senior high school is to increase students' reading amount,stimulate students' reading interest and improve their reading level.It aims to cultivate students' aesthetic appreciation ability,language expression ability and thinking ability through reading.However,the traditional teaching mode of modern prose reading has some limitations,such as old-fashioned teaching form,boring classroom,which can not arouse students' enthusiasm and interest in reading.As a new form of reading teaching,Group Text Reading Teaching respects students' individual reading and uses various teaching methods through the teaching method of "one article with several chapters".In the relaxed atmosphere of cooperative communication,we can train the students' reading speed and cultivate their reading habit,thus improve their aesthetic level and comprehensive quality of Chinese.Therefore,the author proposes to combine the teaching method of group prose reading with the modern prose in Senior High School;the author has collected a large number of relevant materials,and made a detailed study and analysis of them,and has come up with the topic setting for the teaching of modern prose reading,text selection,Problem Design and other related enlightenment,and put forward a series of teaching strategies related to teaching practice.Through the analysis and research on the teaching method of Group Essay Reading,this paper aims to enrich the teaching method of modern prose reading in senior high school and to improve the new teaching ideas for reference in the class of modern prose teaching.
