Research On Group Work Of Community Integration Of The Elderly In Demolition And Resettlement Communities

In the context of accelerating urbanization and population aging in China,the rural land and housing around the city will be uniformly resettled after being requisitioned and demolished by the government,and the resettlement communities begin to emerge.Among the residents in these resettlement communities,the majority are the elderly,who can not be ignored.Although the resettlement community has become more convenient in life and other aspects compared with the rural areas,at the same time,the integration of these elderly people in the resettlement community has also followed.Because the elderly in the resettlement community are usually older,less educated,and less adaptable;After moving from the familiar rural environment to the unfamiliar urban community environment,the lifestyle,living environment and social interaction structure have undergone tremendous changes;In addition,they do not know and know their neighbors,and their relatives and children are absent from their company,which makes them lack of identification with their communities,and even a strong sense of loneliness and touch,leading to their low level of community participation and difficulty in integrating into community life.From the perspective of social work,this paper takes the elderly who have been relocated as the service subject,and uses the professional method of group work to carry out group work in view of the difficulties they encounter in the process of integrating into the resettlement community.We will work with them to find ways to solve the problem of community integration,cultivate their awareness of community participation,improve their ability to participate in the community,cultivate their awareness of self-help and mutual assistance,enhance their sense of community belonging and community identity,so as to achieve the goal of helping the elderly in the resettlement community to better integrate into the community.At the same time,it can also provide some reference for the harmonious neighborhood of the community,the good operation of the community,and the construction and development of the community.
