With the comprehensive progress of our society and the rapid development of higher education,private education has also been rapidly developed and has become a beneficial supplement to the nationa l education system.However,due to many reasons such as history and social environment,there is an obvious gap between privately-run colleges and public colleges,and the market characteristic of privately-run colleges and universities,which makes the competition pressure of privately-run education intensifies,and the competition among colleges and universities becomes increasingly fierce.At the same time,the state has been vigorously developing vocational education and issued policies to encourage th e acceleration of the reform of the vocational education system,which has provided a good opportunity for the development of private vocational colleges.In order to be able to grasp the initiative in the environment of opportunity and competition coexist,private vocational colleges have strengthened the construction of the core competitiveness of the organization,attaches great importance to the human resources management that can directly affect the core competitiveness,especially performance appraisal.Therefore,it is necessary to make a deep discussion on the problems existing in the performance appraisal of teachers in private vocational colleges and the optimization and improvement schemes.This paper mainly studies the improvement strategies of t eachers’ performance appraisal in GJ vocational college based on the background of big data.This study will combine the mainstream performance evaluation related theory and method of human resource management,through the GJ vocational college in the individual performance and overall performance,performance evaluation architecture of obvious contradiction unreasonable,unscientific performance evaluation index design,data acquisition and display is not convenient,performance appraisal results using a d etailed reasons for such problems as insufficient phenomenon analysis,It is found that there are deficiencies in GJ vocational college teachers’ performance appraisal in five aspects: core cognition extraction,performance appraisal system construction,performance index design method,performance management system optimization technology,and performance appraisal results application,and then it puts forward a set of constructive improvement strategies for teacher performance appraisal.The scheme strengthens the "people-oriented" performance appraisal management,using the three-layer and four-dimensional theory to build an evaluation system,using the key performance indicator method and the analytic hierarchy process to optimize the evaluation indicator s,by integrating big data technology performance management information system optimization and expand the application of the performance appraisal results to solve the performance evaluation problems.At the same time,it also puts forward the corresponding implementation and safeguard measures of the improvement strategy of GJ vocational college teachers’ performance appraisal.
