| The community is called the foundation of urban society and its ability to govern plays an important role in the stability and longevity of society. The older neighborhoods that have been built over time have become dilapidated, both on the outside and inside. This is a far cry from the growing needs of the inhabitants of the neighborhoods, which has largely reduced the interests of the inhabitants and has had a negative impact on their productive lives and on the urban fabric of the society,as well as having a potentially destabilizing effect on society and the country as a whole. This paper uses literature research, interviews with residents and questionnaires to collect data on the governance of old neighborhoods in W city from a stakeholder’s perspective. The study is based on this case study. The reasons for this are: the mismatch of group interests, which makes it difficult to unify the interests and goals of various stakeholders;cultural differences, which make it difficult to align the interests and perceptions of various stakeholders;imperfect organizational systems, which lead to the absence and overstepping of stakeholders;and a serious tendency to administrativeisation. The lack of professional and service-oriented stakeholders. On the basis of the theory,we summarize the practice and summarize the relevant optimization measures, and propose suitable and landable references to the current situation of governance in old communities, hoping to provide some reference for the community management of old communities, promote their sustainable and healthy development, and also contribute to the improvement of the quality of living in other types of communities. |
