Dilemmas And Countermeasures In The Management Of Old Residential Areas In Suzhou

In recent years,the rapid development of our country’s economy and the rapid development of urbanization have greatly improved the living conditions of our people and raised the Happiness Index of the people.but there are also many old communities,these old communities dirty environment,aging infrastructure,insufficient parking spaces,insufficient greening.The old residential area involves many residents and has a wide range of influence.It is an important part in the governance of the basic units of society,it is beneficial to improve the living environment of the residents,consolidate the achievements of new urbanization and maintain social harmony and stability.At present,the management of old residential areas in many areas remains at the level of transformation,but the transformation of old residential areas is not the whole content of old residential areas management,to do a good job old residential areas need to solve more problems.This article is based on the working experience in the management of an old community under L Street in Suzhou.It is based on the theories of public governance,participation and collective action,field observation,interviews and questionnaires were used to investigate the management of the old residential area of L Street in Suzhou.Understand the basic situation of L Street old community governance,including the current governance of L Street Old Community Main Body and governance side.As long as the main governance for L Street,community neighborhood committees,residential property,other functional departments(such as:District Police stations,Urban Management Center,fire stations,etc.),social organizations and a small number of residents;The main governance mode is to adhere to the leadership of party building,grid governance mechanism,multi-sectoral linkage mechanism.At the same time,I know that the plight of the old L Street community governance mainly has three aspects:the lack of institutional support,the failure of community governance,the lack of community governance resources.Then from the community to cure the management system,community governance main body,community supervision three aspects of analysis of the reasons for the governance plight of old residential areas,finally,according to the actual situation of the old residential area of L Street and the difficulties faced in the process of the management of the old residential area,some measures are put forward,such as optimizing the management idea,perfecting the management mechanism and promoting the common development of the main body of management,etc.to improve the governance of old residential areas to provide some reference.
