Evaluation Of The Effects Of Rural Living Environment Improvement In The Context Of Rural Revitalization

Rural human settlement environment improvement is the first battle in implementing the rural revitalization strategy and an important measure to achieve a comprehensive well-off society.In recent years,the No.1 Central Document and the rural revitalization strategy have been closely connected,proposing specific improvement measures and goals for the rural human settlement environment.After a series of remediation measures,the rural human settlement environment in many regions has been significantly improved,and the satisfaction and happiness of farmers have been significantly enhanced.However,the current effects of rural human settlement environment improvement and how to achieve the sustainability of improvement results are important issues to be addressed.County X is located in the central part of Henan Province,which is the geometric center of the province’s territory.It has a unique geographical landscape,abundant resources,and rapid economic development.However,there are unbalanced economic development,unobvious improvement effects of the human settlement environment,and an imperfect rural public service system in the county,which urgently need to be resolved.Based on the review of related theories and literature on rural human settlement environment,this thesis takes County X in Henan Province as the research object and obtains research materials through field investigation and document sorting.Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method,the evaluation system of rural human settlement environment is constructed with four first-level indicators:hard environment,soft environment,farmer participation,and management mechanism,and16 secondary indicators.The rural human settlement environment of County X is evaluated and analyzed based on questionnaire survey data to identify existing problems and propose optimization measures.Through the summary of questionnaire survey data,it is found that there are the following problems in the rural human settlement environment of County X: uneven improvement effects in different villages,weak points in human settlement environment construction,insufficient participation of villagers,and inadequate management mechanisms.In response to the existing problems,corresponding optimization measures are proposed,including formulating classified environment improvement strategies for village gaps,promoting the improvement of weak points,stimulating the villagers’ role in environment improvement,and establishing a long-term management mechanism for rural environment improvement.
