Craftsmanship,including the characteristics of concentration,dedication,innovation,etc.,is the embodiment of morality,ability,and quality and an inner spirit of self-transcendence,selfimprovement,and self-discipline.In the increasingly complicated international environment,the desire of countries for "great country craftsmen" is stronger than ever in the pursuit of development.The university stage is not only a transition period for college students to transform from student status to "social person",but also a critical period for college students to grow into talents.Therefore,it is of great significance to use the "craftsman spirit" to guide college students’ values.Starting from the connotation of the craftsman spirit,this thesis summarizes the connotation of the traditional craftsman spirit in my country,and condenses the three transformations of the craftsman spirit in the new era: from the mechanical imitation of "practice makes perfect" to the innovative thinking mode of "ingenuity",from attaching importance to "words and deeds" into a more active “self-exploration”,from pursuing one-sided economic interests to emphasizing the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.Based on the exploration of the connotation of the craftsman spirit in the new era,the connotation of the craftsman spirit of college students in the new era is summarized.Secondly,it analyzes the theoretical origin of the cultivation of the craftsman spirit of college students in the new era from three aspects: Marx’s theory of the all-around development of human beings,Marx’s view of labor,and the essence of ideological and political education.The cultivation of the craftsman spirit of college students in the new era is the demand for realizing the transformation of my country’s manufacturing power into a manufacturing power,the inevitable requirement for promoting the implementation of the five educations in colleges and universities,and the internal demand for improving the spiritual realm of college students.At present,some achievements have been made in the cultivation of the craftsman spirit of college students in our country,especially through the integration of the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and the cultivation of the craftsman spirit of college students,to achieve the fundamental task of "cultivating morality and cultivating people" in college ideological and political courses.In this process,ideological and political education content has also been optimized and improved to a certain extent.However,the cultivation of the craftsman spirit of college students from all aspects of our society still needs to further improve.Developed countries abroad have cultivated the spirit of craftsmanship for a long time,and it has been learned from Germany’s emphasis on "craftsmanship",the United States’ pursuit of "craftsmanship",Japan’s abiding by "craftsman virtue",and Italy’s admiration for "craftsmanship".The valuable experience in cultivating the craftsman spirit of college students in the new era has broadened the perspective of cultivating the craftsman spirit of college students in the new era.After fully absorbing the experience of cultivating the craftsman’s spirit from abroad,we will make efforts from the four aspects of society,colleges and universities,families,and college students themselves to provide measures and suggestions for improving the cultivation of the craftsman’s spirit of college students in the new era of our country.
