Academic-based teaching methods is a teaching method that focuses on students’ autonomous learning and develop students’ intelligence.Based on the practical problems existing in intermediate Chinese reading class,this article conducts teaching design and practice based on the theory of academic teaching methods,and explores the feasibility and necessity of academic-style teaching methods in intermediate Chinese reading courses.Divided into four parts except the introduction and conclusions: First,introduce the connotation and extension of academic teaching methods,and analyze the advantages of traditional teaching methods compared to traditional teaching methods.Secondly,Based on the characteristics,teaching goals,and existing problems of intermediate Chinese reading courses,the principles and specific methods of academic teaching teaching methods are applied to intermediate Chinese reading class teaching,and the significance of academic guidance teaching methods in intermediate Chinese reading classes.Then,the teaching design was used as an example based on lessons of the second volume of “Developing Chinese and Intermediate Reading II”,showing the specific application of the academic teaching method in the intermediate Chinese reading class.Finally,the conclusion of this study is obtained.Practice proves that the application of academic teaching methods is operable and advantageous in intermediate Chinese reading classes,but it is necessary to pay attention to strengthening presets for students’ Chinese levels;fully arrange teaching time;increase training and find training for finding training.Quay key sentences;design diversified practice,establish feedback system and other issues.
