| Listening class is a difficult course in TCSL,There are many factors that affect the teaching effect of listening,and the most important one is vocabulary.In the teaching of second language,many scholars emphasize that vocabulary plays an important role in listening.How to effectively teach new words in listening class is a problem for many teachers.In order to study this problem,this paper firstly carries out a questionnaire survey on vocabulary teaching in intermediate listening class of International Han College of Shaanxi Normal University.The results show that students attach i:mportance to the study of new words in listening class.And they want to learn more about the use of new words.At present,in the listening class,the students agree to adopt the new word teaching method which is based on visual input.The"visual inputt"teaching method is that the teacher uses the PPT,action,picture word card and other teaching methods to show the students and explain the new words they need to learn.On the basis of this,this paper also uses the method of contrastive experiment to study the students in two intermediate classes.A contrastive experimental study of listening vocabulary teaching methods was carried out in this paper.In the course of the experiment,the two groups of students were taught with different teaching methods,and then they were tested after being shown some recordings,and the experimental group was investigated by questionnaire,and the results and conclusions of the experiment were obtained.Through the overall and local analysis of the test results,this paper further studies the students’preference for listening vocabulary teaching methods and their acceptance of vocabulary teaching methods based on auditory input.According to the experimental results,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)in a short period of time,the teaching effect of the auditory input-based vocabulary teaching method is not obvious.At the same time,the vocabulary teaching method based on auditory input is not good for students to learn the writing of new words.(2)But from the local point of view,The vocabulary teaching method based on auditory input plays an important role in learning the meaning of new words and improving their listening comprehension ability.Students believe that the listening input-based vocabulary teaching method is conducive to their vocabulary learning in listening classes.Students can accept new words teaching methods based on auditory input,but need to change the teaching steps to improve teaching methods.According to the experimental conclusion,this paper puts forward that:(1)The teaching form of auditory input should be increased on the basis of visual input in the teaching of new words in listening class;(2)The teaching order should be that teaching the meaning of new words before listening exercises;(3)The teachers should collect and make full use of phonetic data;(4)After class arrangement sound homework. |
