The existential construction is one of the special sentence patterns in Chinese grammar,and its special structure makes it easy for overseas students to make mistakes when using it.The research on the ontology of existential construction,common errors and teaching methods has become mature.On this basis,we can explore the possibility of helping international students to acquire existential construction more efficiently by analyzing and comparing the practice design of each set of textbooks.As one of the "three teachings",if the exercises are well designed,teachers can grasp the key point of the grammar point,guide students to trigger associations in typical situations,and improve their learning efficiency.In July 2021,Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education was officially implemented.The publication of Appendix A(Normative)Outline for Grammar Points of Each Band is of great significance.Experts from the front line graded various grammar points and designed typical example sentences in line with students’ cognition and grammar rules,which pointed out the direction for the practice design of existential construction.This paper selects three sets of international Chinese comprehensive textbooks published in the same period for long-term students--Developing Chinese(Second Edition),Boya Chinese(Second Edition)and Level Chinese.From the aspects of grammar arrangement sequence,question type design and proportion comparison,this paper analyzes the design of existing sentences in the primary textbooks.Then,the same type of question in the three sets of textbooks is selected to investigate students’ preference for the content design of the topic in the form of questionnaire survey,and teachers are invited to interview,to understand the teachers’ views on the practice design of the three sets of textbooks,the practice situation of learning the practice of the existential construction in class,and their opinions and suggestions on the practice design of the existential construction.Finally,according to the above content,analyzes and summarizes the deficiencies in the design of existential construction in the three sets of textbooks,and gives relevant opinions and suggestions.Through research and analysis,it is found that there are some problems in the three textbooks,such as low matching degree between the grammar point setting of the existential construction and the sequence of grammar arrangement and the outline,low matching degree between the grammar exercise design and the explanation,and less training of the structure of the existential construction.In view of the above problems,the article puts forward that we should attach importance to the requirements of "Outline" and improve the matching degree;The exercise design corresponds to the explanation section;Pay attention to the errors of existential construction and strengthen the structure training of existential construction;Multi-angle innovative design existential construction communication exercises.
