Language is not accomplished through learning,but through practice.That is,only through the practice process of internalizing the learning content in the teaching and learning process,can complete language learning be realized.In foreign language textbooks,the exercises of the textbooks become an internal practice tool that confirms the concepts of the target language learned by the learners in the classroom and makes them flexibly use in the actual communication environment.The exercises have five main functions.1.Through the exercises,learners can understand and remember what they have learned,practically apply and accumulate their own knowledge;2.Perform the role of confirming the results of the teaching or the degree of achievement of the initially set teaching goals;3.Through practice,learners can confirm the degree of understanding of the content they have learned and the degree of achievement of learning goals;4.Have the function of diagnosing the degree of learning difficulty of learners;5.Teachers can master the learner’s teaching understanding through practice and adjust Teaching progress.From the perspective of second foreign language subjects,from the perspective of practical application of the learned language knowledge,it can be said that learners rely more heavily on textbooks than other subjects.Moreover,in the past 20 years,although a lot of research on Chinese teaching has been conducted in the academic circles,comparative research on textbooks only focuses on the structure,vocabulary,communication and other functions of the text,and there are relatively few studies on exercises with evaluation functions.Therefore,this paper will conduct a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of exercises through comparative analysis and research,and further propose the teaching direction of Chinese as a second language.This thesis takes the Chinese primary comprehensive Chinese textbook Developing Chinese-Elementary Comprehensive Ⅰ,Ⅱ(Second Edition)and the Korean primary comprehensive Chinese textbook Delicious Chinese Level1-part.1,part.2 as the research objects.As the central self-learning policy,the research focuses on the exercises of the textbooks as the most basic learning and evaluation tool for learners,and it explains from the perspective of diversified types to increase learners’ interest in Chinese.This paper can be divided into five parts.In the introduction part,it briefly introduces the background and reason of the topic selection,the current situation of academic research,research significance,research goals,research methods,etc.Through all the content in the introduction,the rationality of this research is established and the value and importance of this research are emphasized.In the first chapter,introduce the concepts,classification,principles,functions of the exercises and other theories related to this thesis,and explain several standards.In addition,the editing concepts of the two sets of textbooks,Developing Chinese and Delicious Chinese,which are the research objects of this thesis,are explained.In the second chapter,a comparative analysis of the practice design of Developing Chinese and Delicious Chinese is carried out.By dividing the exercises into style,question type,question volume,etc.,the comparative analysis is carried out,and the internal and external structure of the textbook is summarized.Through subdivided comparison standards,conduct in-depth research on Chinese and Korean textbook exercises.In the third chapter,the problems found in the comparative analysis of the two sets of textbook exercise designs are summarized,and corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward based on scholars’ theories.In the conclusion part,the research content is summarized,and the future development direction of Korean Chinese teaching is proposed.Based on the comparative analysis of the two sets of textbooks Developing Chinese and Delicious Chinese,the author proposes the following suggestions for improving the practice design of Korean Chinese textbooks.First,the amount of exercises should be increased in the textbook Delicious Chinese.Second,the type of exercises in the textbook Delicious Chinese should be diversified.Third,language knowledges and language skills should be balanced.Fourth,based on the principle of "from easy to difficult",the difficulty of Delicious Chinese needs to be adjusted.Fifth,words that are not necessary as exercises or "writing Chinese characters" should be deleted,and "writing Chinese characters" should be avoided to repeat.Sixth,the practice of listening and speaking should be active.Seventh,materials and actual photos related to real life should be used.Eighth,the question type that combines language skills and culture should be developed.Researchers’ subjective judgments,differences in numerical values caused by percentage conversion,insufficient consideration of difficulty or importance,and practicality,etc.are inadequate.However,the objects of this research are the first-year introductory textbook of Korean Chinese Department or the Chinese textbook Delicious Chinese commonly used in cram schools and the Developing Chinese,which is most commonly used by long-term advanced students who come to China to learn Chinese.This research is about these two sets.The only study on the comparison of textbook exercises,and through in-depth comparative analysis,summarizes the problems existing in Korean Chinese textbooks and puts forward suggestions for improvement.Through this research,the author proposes a substantive and effective development direction for Korean Chinese education,which is the greatest value of this research.The author hopes that the research results of this paper will be helpful to the application or design of the exercises of the teaching materials in the Chinese teaching field in the future,and I also hope that the comparative study of the exercises of the Chinese teaching materials will be more active.
