Analysis Of The Impact Of Digital Transmation On The Performance Of Manufacturing Compaines

"During the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,China’s development of the digital economy has been elevated to a national strategy,which in turn has promoted the digital economy to a deeper level.The 20 th Five-Year Plan report proposes to"promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy" and"insist on putting the focus of economic development on the real economy,promoting a new type of industrialisation,and accelerating the construction of a strong manufacturing country and a digital China".The deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy can not only empower traditional industries,but also give rise to new industries,new business models and new modes.The manufacturing industry is the key to China’s high-quality economic development,and the application of digital technology can achieve the effect of "reducing costs and increasing efficiency".Therefore,it is important to study the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.Based on a review of existing literature,this paper discusses the types of digital transformation,the impact of digital transformation on business performance and the ways in which digital transformation can affect business performance.in which digital transformation affects business performance.Taking Yutong Bus Company as an example,we established a theoretical analysis framework based on organizational change theory,power change theory,and resource base theory;we analyzed Yutong’s motivation for digital transformation,Yutong’s digital transformation strategy,and the mode of digital transformation affecting enterprise performance;we used various indicators to compare Yutong’s performance before and after digital transformation.We analyzed the changes in Yutong’s performance before and after the digital transformation through various indicators.In addition,the performance of Yutong Bus,Zhongtong Bus,Golden Dragon and the average of the bus industry at the same time point of digital transformation were compared horizontally to determine the impact of digital transformation on Yutong’s performance.The study shows that Yutong’s digital transformation has improved the company’s performance;the digital transformation has improved the company’s"research,development and innovation capability,intelligent production,operation and management capability" by increasing the company’s "level of innovation,production,marketing and management"."This paper proposes the following conclusions:On the bais of the findings,this document makes the following recommendations,companies must attach great importance to digital transformation;second,insist on innovation and continuously increase investment in research;third,strengthen the cost control of enterprises so that digital transformation can become an engine for performance improvement;fourth,relevant departments should continuously introduce supportive policies to help SMEs implement digital transformation.
