| With the rapid development of the digital economy,the fourth industrial revolution has arrived.Digital technology,as a lubricant for economic development,is accelerating its penetration into all aspects of enterprise business activities.In the midst of digitalization,both large and small enterprises must be prepared for transformation and embrace the wave of digitalization.In recent years,with the iterative updating of digital technology,the threshold and risk of Digital transformation are gradually reduced.At the same time,the government’s support for digital technology iteration and digital economy development has gradually increased,which has provided a good external environment for enterprises’ Digital transformation and injected new momentum and vitality into China’s economic growth.As an important component of China’s national economy,the mechanical manufacturing industry has a complex production process,inertia in transformation,and a large industrial scale,which enables it to establish competitive advantages faster through business model innovation and reap sustained "transformation profits" during the transformation process.This article takes Sany Heavy Industry,a leading enterprise in the mechanical manufacturing industry,as the case study object.Based on the value chain theory and process reengineering theory,this paper studies the impact path of Digital transformation on enterprise performance from two aspects: input and output efficiency of production factors and industry performance of financial performance.With DEA method,the path of Digital transformation affecting enterprise performance is obtained:(1)Digital transformation improves the input-output efficiency of various production factors in the production process,and realizes cost reduction and efficiency increase in the production process.(2)The Digital transformation has improved the relative efficiency of sales expenses and sales personnel,thus improving the marketing accuracy and aftersales service quality of enterprises.In order to further verify the relationship between the degree of digitalization and corporate performance,this paper also uses the methods of text analysis and feature comparison to compare the degree of Digital transformation of Sany Heavy Industry and corporate performance in the past 10 years.The results show that Digital transformation has played a role in promoting enterprise performance.The higher the degree of Digital transformation,the more obvious the role of promoting enterprise performance.Based on the case analysis of Sany Heavy Industry’s transformation experience,this paper puts forward the following four research suggestions for the Digital transformation of machinery manufacturing enterprises:(1)core business should be taken as the starting point,step by step;(2)Provide top-down guidance and involve all employees;(3)Tailor the enterprise transformation strategy;(4)Continuously improving and revising strategies during the transformation process,achieving strategic "craftsmanship". |
