The rapid development of digital economy and the fact that various countries actively promote the integration of digital technology and industry have proved that all walks of life are bound to face the problem of transformation and upgrading after a certain stage of development.Nowadays,more and more enterprises take the initiative or passive path of digital transformation.The fundamental purpose of enterprise transformation is to maximize company value.Therefore,it is of great significance for enterprise growth to find the path of digital transformation to create company value and explore its driving factors.This paper selects Midea Group,a leading enterprise of digital transformation in the home appliance industry,as the research object,trying to reveal the relationship between digital transformation and value creation.After fully reading relevant literature and searching for many materials,the author uses case analysis and comparative analysis methods to analyze the motivation,process and value creation path of enterprise digital transformation on this basis.When exploring how digital transformation helps companies to achieve value creation,the influence mechanism of digital transformation on corporate value creation is obtained.Finally,the financial index method and EVA analysis method are used to evaluate the effect of enterprise digital transformation.As a manufacturing enterprise undergoing transformation and upgrading,Midea Group is transforming from a traditional home appliance company to a global technology group integrating consumer appliances,heating and air conditioning,robotics and automation systems,and digital business.Taking Midea Group as an example,this paper analyzes its value creation path and finds that the digital transformation of Midea Group is mainly based on the optimization of existing business,the development of digital products,the development of digital business and the realization of value creation by becoming a digital ecosystem provider.Based on this,we further evaluate the value performance of Midea Group before and after transformation,and find that digital transformation can effectively help enterprises to improve efficiency,enrich product content,enhance enterprise value,help enterprises to operate smoothly against the trend,and ride the wind and waves in the trend.Therefore,this paper draws the conclusion that there are three reasons for the digital transformation of beauty.First,the traditional model is no longer applicable,and a new breakthrough is urgently needed.Second,the organization structure is obsolete,and the digital economy helps to restructure the value chain.Finally,users’ consumption patterns are changing,and digital transformation is inevitable.The digital transformation path of Midea and its influence on enterprise value are mainly reflected in the following aspects: First,the change and influence of digital transformation on the management and operation of Midea.Helped Midea reshape its IT system.The second is the change and influence of digital transformation on the production and marketing mode of Midea.The third is the change and influence of digital transformation on the organizational structure of Midea.The transformation has recovered a lot of power and interests of various vocational departments,weakening the administrative layer relationship of the traditional divisional system.The fourth is the change and influence of digital transformation on Midea’s sales channel.Midea pays more attention to online sales and services.Since 2014,Midea officially opened the e-commerce channel,the online sales of Midea group have increased year by year.Fifth,digital transformation changes the business model of Midea and affects the business model of the whole enterprise of Midea.Finally,this paper gives some suggestions to Midea and other enterprises that want to digital transformation.The success of digital transformation of Midea can be used as a good reference for other enterprises. |
