Children are gradually migrating away from the country and nature due to the rapid urbanisation process,population growth in the modern world,and natural education and cultural courses are also rapidly becoming isolated.In the end,children’s understanding of environmental conservation is deteriorating,which causes some people to destroy the environment actively.The state has increasingly strengthened its funding and direction for ecological education and research trips to ameliorate this predicament.The development of research travel bases has also been carried out in tandem with the growth of nature education.The unique resources in the countryside provide a fertile foundation for nature education,and the idea of nature education led to the creation of the children’s agricultural research base.Even though it is highly regarded by the government and enjoyed by people of all social classes,issues like poor education,sinister themes,and a lack of educational features in activity facilities at established research bases must be addressed.Therefore,it is necessary to address the issues that prevent nature education from being logically developed in the context of the scientific basis and from satisfying the needs of teachers.The landscape design of the children’s agricultural research base based on the idea of natural education will be carried out in this study using the comprehensive analysis technique,questionnaire survey method,and empirical research method to address the issues above.Put forward some architectural concepts for the construction of agricultural research bases in order to theoretically enrich and improve current educational techniques and practices to meet the developmental demands of students in exam-focused educational systems and the requirements of regional research bases.Regarding research-related material,this study initially elaborates on the ideas of nature education,kids,research outings,and research bases.It overviews the natural education program for kids’ agricultural research basis.Second,it summarises the expression forms of landscape features and activity courses of nature education in the research base by analysing the standout examples from the research base.Design approaches of the agricultural research base under the concept of natural education are derived by fusing the core theories,the design principles,the design strategies,and the appropriate research activity space and natural education elements.Finally,the landscape design practice of the children’s agricultural research base in Chishui Village under natural education is used to verify the earlier research findings.Based on extensive surveys of Chishui Village,fully comprehend the present state and historical context of Chishui Village,suggest a design strategy for the area’s agricultural research base,and complete the Chishui Village Research Base’s landscape planning and design scheme.The empirical data demonstrates that the incorporation of nature education and the development of agricultural research bases can enhance the natural education function of the bases and ultimately accomplish the educational goal of children’s research travel,which offers fresh suggestions and resources for the development of children’s agricultural research bases under the concept of natural education.
