Research On The Landscape Transformation Of Public Space In The Resettlement Community Of Zhengdong New Area From The Perspective Of Community Identity

With the rapid expansion of urbanization,many villages near the original city have been incorporated into urban planning,and these land-lost residents have moved into urban resettlement communities.Most of the residents in these resettlement communities previously relied on farming as their livelihood.Due to the impact of traditional forms of life,they were unable to adapt to other professions during the process of integrating into urban life.Relying on geographical advantages,they rented out houses in their residential communities,resulting in a rapid influx of migrant population into the resettlement community.Due to the instability and heterogeneity of the migrant population itself,a series of issues related to community security and the community environment have arisen,The community identity of residents has decreased.In addition,at the beginning of the establishment of resettlement communities,in order to quickly resettle villagers,community public space cannot meet the needs of residents.With the rapid development of our country,the contradiction between residents’ needs and the lack of community public space has deepened,violating the vision of building a beautiful and harmonious community.This article intends to adopt the literature research method,case practice method,field research method,and analysis and induction method for research.Based on the perspective of community identity,the paper discusses the influencing factors of community identity,analyzes excellent community renewal and transformation cases,conducts a public space survey on the current situation of Zhengzhou resettlement community construction through a questionnaire compiled by Likert Scale,and focuses on community identity research and evaluation of 9 resettlement communities in Zhengdong New Area.The average value of community identity is 2.325 which is lower than the average value of normal community identity.On this basis,the characteristics of the population and the existing public space problems in the resettlement community in Zhengdong New Area are analyzed,such as the large number of floating population,the unmet needs of residents,the lack of vitality in the activity and communication space,the crowded commercial space,the lack of shopping desire of residents,and the chaotic road traffic organization.In order to solve these problems,it is proposed to improve the quality of landscape greening,create a livable community environment,build a multi-functional space to guide community residents to participate,optimize road traffic organization,and improve road traffic efficiency,and elaborate corresponding strategies.Finally,in the surveyed communities,a representative Jicheng Community No.2 Institute was selected to conduct renovation research using the above strategies,With a view to achieving community identity through the transformation of community public space in the resettlement community,a set of scientific,reasonable,and operable transformation strategies and planning and design methods are explored to solve the problem of improving the public space environment in Zhengzhou resettlement community,which is currently a large and widespread area.
