The Study Of The Evaluation On Public Space Activity In Urban Resettlement Communities

In recent years,in the context of rapid urbanization and large-scale construction of resettlement community,many "uprooted" villages have gone through the process of from scattered living to concentrated living and their inhabitants from "farmers" to "citizens"which not only means the transformations of farmers" living space and social status in resettlemet community,but also means the loss of the traditional communication space and the breakage of the space nodes,the complete disintegration of traditional networks and the social isolation of new communities.Public space,an important material carrier of social public life,is an important tool to participate in social governance.Efficient and energetic public space has the functions of improving citizen's happiness,increasing social capital,enhancing community cohesion and promoting community integration.The evaluation of public space vitality is not only the value judgments of public places about the use rate and attractiveness in the resettlement community,but also reflects the efficiency of public space reconstructing social network,the ability to integrate community identity,but also has important guiding significance to the planning and construction of current and future resettlement community and the transformation of how community is governed.In view of the above,based on the "interaction-integration" logic of "social-space",taking the particularity of resettlement community's public space as the starting point and by referring to related research on public space both at home and abroad,this paper discusses the dynamic evaluation system of public space,which is suitable for resettlement community,and constructs scientific and reasonable evaluation model of community's public space vitality.Through the empirical study on somerepresentative resettlement communities in Suzhou,the paper analyzes and evaluates the basic characteristics of public space's vitality in resettlement communities,and then puts forward strategies to improve public space's vitality in urban resettlement community.Firstly,based on the analyses of the urban resettlement community and the particularity of its public space,the scientific and reasonable evaluation method of vitality is selected and evaluation indicators of public space's vitality in resettlement community are decided based on the three aspects.vitality's connotation,reference of the existing indicators and the orientation of the community integration.The evaluation model of the public space's vitality in resettlement community is established by further integration and reorder and by determining weights of the indicators through frequency statistics and expert scoring.Secondly,by investigating the development course of Suzhou city and the overall construction of its resettlement community,six typical resettlement communities,which adopt the three resettlement modes of the placed-near-by-notes,placed-in-other-notes and placed-in-the-original-notes,are selected as research samples.With research data got from random questionnaires and in-depth interviews and evaluation factors' vitality and attention rates got from fuzzy evaluation method,it is found that the vitality of the public space in the resettlement community has the following characteristics:the general level of the public space of the resettlement communities and the factor is more allocated in the zone of "low attention rate and high vitality rate".Moreover,the developmental phases of cities,resettlement mode,nongovernmental organizations and cultural activities also bring about the differences in the vitality.Finally,based on the results of vitality evaluation,the strategies to improve the public space's vitality in urban resettlement community are promoted;it is suggested that the"small gathering,big mixed" resettlement mode should be adopted,based on analyzing the features of vitality;differentiated optimization strategies of public space are proposed;furthermore,the management of spatial interests,nongovernmental organizations and social culture should be strengthened in resettlement community,in order to fully stimulate the revitalization of the community.
