In recent years,due to the increasingly serious global energy and environmental problems,in order to achieve the ultimate goal of "zero pollution,zero emissions",countries are very concerned about the development of new energy vehicles.In this context,new energy vehicle enterprises have emerged,making the market competition of the whole industry more and more intense.The current market pattern of China’s auto industry shows a "pyramid" shape,that is,the top of the "pyramid" is the vehicle manufacturer,and the bottom is the parts supplier.The development of the vehicle drives the development of parts,at the same time,parts enterprises also provide market and technical support for the vehicle enterprises,the two influence each other,mutual constraints.As the competition in the industry as a whole is intensifying,who can quickly and efficiently complete product development,who can win the initiative in the market,who can win in the fierce market competition.Faced with such a situation,parts suppliers must take the initiative to analyze and improve the various problems that arise in the process of new product development.Auto parts product development project management is a very complex system engineering,which requires close cooperation among all parties involved in the project,scientific allocation of enterprise resources,strict planning and budgetary control of the project to ensure that the project can be effectively implemented.At the same time,since it is an activity with both risks and opportunities,in order to gain competitive advantage in product development,it is necessary to enhance product project management as the core business activity of the enterprise.How to reasonably and effectively manage the project of product development has become an urgent problem for each auto parts manufacturer.In this paper,we analyze the current situation of the project management of auto parts development in M Company and discuss the problems and causes of its product development project management.Based on the basic theory of project management,the planning,change and risk management parts of the project management process are optimized and reengineered,and the optimization of a strong matrix-type project management organization is proposed.On this basis,specific safeguards are established to guarantee the implementation of optimization measures in four aspects: organization,system,culture and human resources.The research in this paper not only contributes to the improvement of product development project management and operational efficiency of M Company,but also contributes to the enhancement of the company’s core competitiveness.At the same time,it is also expected that the discussion of this paper will play a role in the establishment and improvement of the product development project management system of similar enterprises in China.
