| In recent years,with the rapid expansion of the global automobile industry,the market of auto parts industry is booming,but it also faces many threats and challenges.The constraint of enterprise core competitiveness will make them lose development power.CX company is a private multinational group enterprise which mainly produces bearings.After decades of efforts,the performance of CX company in the main business of automobile bearings is still not ideal,and its competitive position in the industry is low.In the progress of the globalization of auto parts manufacturing,enterprises are facing the pressure of shortened development cycle and rising product cost.If enterprises want to gain obvious competitive advantage in auto parts industry,they must pay attention to their internal new product development ability.The establishment and effective operation of the perfect new product development project management process directly affects the product development cycle,product quality,development cost and other links.This paper takes the new product development project management process of CX Company as the research object.By used the methods of literature research and field research,applied with the project management,Stage-Gate System,Advanced Product Quality Planning,concurrent engineering and other theories,the paper is analyzed deeply the existing problems in the process.These problems include lack of flexibility for project workflow,lack of cost control points in project management process,feedback mechanism not reasonable in communication process,cumbersome process for project information management.This paper is also analyzed the root causes for these problems.By using of project management and business process reengineering for these existing issues,the optimization schemes is proposed to adapt the development of enterprise,such as the development process phase reengineering,reconstruction of project organization structure,the implementation of Stage-Gate System and concurrent engineering during project development phase and simplify the project information management process.Finally,the process optimization schemes is implemented smoothly by getting the support of top management,making effective human resource management system,establishing an effective incentive system,develop the spirit of the organization’s corporate culture based on the current development situation of CX company.Hope this article can provide reference for other similar domestic bearing enterprises to develop new products. |
