With the rapid development of our country’s economy and the dramatic change of external environment,the problems of our country’s economic development are gradually emerging,including the disappearance of demographic dividend,unreasonable industrial structure,bottlenecks in the development of enterprises,lack of innovation ability,lack of competitive advantages and so on.Enterprises urgently need to seek a new way of sustainable development,so the enterprise strategic transformation is imminent.The development of modern science and technology provides enterprises with excellent opportunities for transformation and development,and the development of Internet and big data technology makes enterprises shift from real economy to digital economy.The digital transformation of enterprises takes data as the driving factor,realizes the automation of business process and intelligentization of operation and management by building digital platform system,helps enterprises reduce cost and increase efficiency,generates new value creation points,and promotes enterprises to create value sustainably.How does the digital transformation of an enterprise enhance its value? At present,the research on the impact of digital transformation on enterprise value is in its infancy.Most studies only show the positive relationship between digital transformation and enterprise value,while there are different views on the specific impact path,and there is a lack of systematic and comprehensive research summary.Therefore,this paper adopts the case study method to research the specific impact path and effect of digital transformation on enterprise value.As one of the giants in China’s construction machinery manufacturing industry,Sany took the initiative to change during the downturn of the industry,and dealt with the impact of external environment changes through digital transformation,and finally achieved fruitful results,realizing the improvement of enterprise value.Therefore,this paper takes Sany Heavy Industry as a case,adopts the methods of literature research,case analysis and comparative analysis to study the impact of Sany’s digital transformation on enterprise value.Based on relevant theories and literature review,this paper firstly constructs a theoretical analysis framework of the impact of digital transformation on enterprise value,and then sorts out and summarizes the motivation and process of digital transformation of Sany Heavy Industry.After that,according to the theoretical analysis framework and the actual situation of the enterprise,the path and factors affecting enterprise value are analyzed.On this basis,this paper further analyzes the influence effect of digital transformation on enterprise profitability,growth and risk,and conduct an overall assessment of enterprise value.The study found that the digital transformation of Sany Heavy Industry realizes the improvement of production and operation efficiency,the ascension of innovation level,the expansion of market share and the effective management and control of business risks,through the three influence paths of digital reengineering of business process,digital platform construction and digital talent cultivation.Further,it brings the positive influences on corporate profitability,growth and risk in many ways,and can improve the overall enterprise value.
