Research On The Impact Of Digital Transformation On The Performance Of Construction Machinery Enterprises

The deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy has become an inevitable trend.The Central Committee has repeatedly emphasized the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries,and promoted the high-end,digital and intelligent development of the manufacturing industry.Digital transformation can help construction machinery enterprises to solve the industry pain points,break through the dilemma,and achieve high-quality development,however,most companies have yet to become more efficient through digitization and achieve business growth.It is of great significance to study the impact of digital transformation on performance and its action mechanism for boosting the digital transformation of construction machinery enterprises and releasing the development potential of digital economy.This paper uses the case study method,takes the Sany Heavy Industry as the research object,measures the cause of digital transformation to divide the digital transformation process;explores the four dimensions of production,operation,service and management of the enterprise;combines the factor analysis method,analyzes the impact of digital transformation from the two aspects of financial performance and non-financial performance,and explores the function mechanism.The study found that:(1)The organizational crisis in different stages,such as survival pressure,scale expansion and innovation and upgrading,jointly drove the digital transformation.(2)The digital transformation of Sany has an impact on enterprise performance from four aspects: production end,operation end,service end and management end.By promoting the construction of the lighthouse factory at the production end,building an industrial internet platform at the operation end,promoting intelligent service at the service end,and reforming the management leadership at the management end,we can achieve cost reduction and efficiency increase,improve operation efficiency,optimize customer experience and realize intelligent management.(3)The implementation of Sany digital transformation has improved the performance of enterprises.In terms of financial performance,digital transformation optimizes operating costs,improves asset quality,profitability and development potential;in terms of non-financial performance,digital transformation improves the market competitiveness,brand influence and social value.The comprehensive analysis results show that Sany has improved the industry performance ranking.The research in this paper not only enriches the theoretical research results of the impact of digital transformation on the performance of construction machinery enterprises,but also provides fresh practical cases for the construction machinery industry to promote digital transformation.
