Motivation And Performance Analysis Of Sany’s Digital Transformation

Manufacturing is the foundation of a country and the foundation of a strong country.Therefore,at the beginning of our country’s founding,China made it a long-term national policy to expand and strengthen the manufacturing industry,especially the heavy equipment manufacturing industry.Recently,with the global industrial upgrading,the State Council promulgated "Made in China 2025" in 2015,proposing to take the deep integration of informatization and industrialization as the core,and take intelligent manufacturing as the development direction,in order to achieve intelligent manufacturing,The goal of transformation and upgrading of digitalization and digitalization.At present,with the decline of traditional enterprises and the surge of uncertainty in the market environment,"seizing the unprecedented opportunities given by industrial digitization and digital industrialization,and quickly deploying the digital economy" has thus become the guiding direction of national strategies and policies of various regions and industries,more and more traditional enterprises are actively embracing the digital age.However,the practice of digital transformation of Chinese enterprises has just started,and the research on the digital economy,new economy,new industries,new formats and new business models is still in the initial stage.In particular,it should be emphasized that,compared with a large number of innovative enterprises with relatively short establishment time and obvious new economic "genes",many traditional enterprises have an urgent demand to transform and develop into a digital economy on the one hand,and on the other hand,it faces many challenges because of the existing path dependence.Therefore,it is very important to study digital transformation.Based on this,this paper selects Sany Heavy Industry,a typical and representative leader in the construction machinery industry,as the research object to explore the impact of digital transformation on corporate performance.The paper firstly conducts an in-depth analysis of the development status and characteristics of the construction machinery industry on the basis of systematically sorting out the existing literature,public information and other materials,and then analyzes the specific measures,motivations and performance changes of the digital transformation of sample companies.Finally,through the case analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Digital transformation strengthens the advantages of enterprise products,services,channels,and forms the core competitiveness of enterprises;(2)Digital transformation effectively integrates resources and improves the operational efficiency of enterprises;(3)Digital transformation enables enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency,and promote the growth of corporate profits.
