| It can be seen from the data and relevant reports in recent years that the design of medical processes and medical related products for children’s patients in China basically refers to the adult model,ignoring the physiological and psychological needs of children to a great extent.Especially for diabetes children,a small group of child patients,the needle pricking sensation caused by insulin injection and blood glucose detection,as well as the adult medical process,often lead to strong resistance to blood glucose monitoring and treatment.However,according to the current medical research,regardless of the age of diabetes patients,once they get sick,they will need to use drugs for life to control treatment.This design will try to use narrative design thinking to design and improve the diagnosis and treatment products for children with diabetes,so as to make the use process of the products more humanized and interesting,so that children can better integrate into the treatment,reduce the pain,gradually understand the pathological knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment process,and develop good medication habits and living habits.In this design research,firstly,through the exploration of the relevant theories of narrative design,it lays the foundation for the later theoretical and practical innovation;The second is to sort out the relevant theories and case studies of "dynamic narrative design" in narrative design,take them as the theoretical basis of this design practice,and pave the way for the exploration of dynamic narrative design of children’s blood glucose Supervision products;Thirdly,by analyzing the current situation of children’s medical product design,this paper explores the important feature of dynamic narrative design in children’s medical products-playfulness,and demonstrates it with examples;Fourthly,taking children’s blood glucose monitoring products as the design object,starting from the actual process of using relevant products for children with diabetes,and under the setting of five elements of dynamic narrative design(i.e.structure,role,behavior,environment and props),the product design innovation is carried out based on the game characteristics;Finally,the rationality and feasibility of this design innovation are verified by evaluating the research results of dynamic narrative design of children’s blood glucose monitoring products.Narrative design can transform the fixed "things" into the "props" needed in the use situation through the design of narrative plot,and help to improve the functional attributes of "things".In the of children’s blood glucose monitoring products,the theory and method of narrative design are used to integrate interesting and vivid story plots and processes in the boring treatment process,and the design thinking is used to change the stereotyped and cold traditional impression of medical products,so as to enable children’s patients to complete diagnosis and treatment in the promotion of more fun,dynamic and warm story plots,so as to improve the curative effect of medical products and the smoothness of medical process,Reduce children’s psychological burden and add emotional experience. |
