Today’s market competition is no longer a competition between individual enterprises,but a competition between suppliers.Due to the fact that the supply chain of each downstream enterprise is composed of many upstream suppliers,differences in corporate culture and goal pursuit,coupled with the constantly changing market environment,and other reasons,supplier management is facing new problems,especially the increasingly prominent issue of comprehensive evaluation and selection of suppliers: the needs and understandings between enterprises and suppliers in many aspects such as time,space,quantity,quality,and specifications are inconsistent;Problems such as poor business flow at both ends of the procurement and supply chain,logistics congestion,and capital cut-off often occur.These issues have seriously affected the development of downstream enterprises and the improvement of the overall performance of upstream suppliers.How to design and adopt a supplier selection system suitable for the development of their own enterprises for analysis and diagnosis,identify differences between goals and reality,take corresponding measures to improve,and improve the overall operational performance of suppliers has become a widespread and urgent issue to be addressed.By investigating the current situation of suppliers in HK Suzhou Co.,Ltd.,and comparing and analyzing data from different categories and types of suppliers,the problems and common characteristics of the selection system are summarized.The key factors affecting suppliers are analyzed in the selection process.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to determine the standard weight of each indicator,and the specific calculation method for scoring is given.In the selection process,the engineering value method(VA/VE)and total cost ownership method(TCO)are combined with evaluation weight indicators,as well as the horizontal approximation ideal type(TOPSIS)method for suppliers in the mass production stage.Finally,the reconstruction of the supplier selection model is completed.Taking the existing multiple core suppliers of HK Suzhou Co.,Ltd.as the research object,using the constructed new evaluation and selection system to practice in combination with actual projects,and based on the results,proposing corresponding solutions to the problems existing in the evaluation object,to achieve the goal of "safe environment,qualified quality,punctual delivery,competitive prices,and high-quality services",Successfully improved the effectiveness and robustness of the company’s selection system,opening up a cost saving path for the company and opening up new ideas for serving customers.
