Manufacturing industry is the pillar industry of the national economy and comprehensive national strength.With the advent of the era of information,digitization and intelligence,the deepening of mass personalized customized production and the improvement of the level of social and economic development,the life cycle of products and services is rapidly iterative,and the market competition has fully entered the Red Sea era.Manufacturing enterprises are facing all-round pressure.As a partner of an enterprise suppliers are the most important part of supply chain management.Through in-depth research and optimized management of suppliers,it will be of great significance to reduce the total cost,improve product quality and deliver on time.For the supplier management of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises,especially the systematic research on supplier evaluation system,classification,quality feedback and relationship management is still not very in-depth.This thesis takes s company as a research case,systematically summarizes and analyzes the relevant data,analyzes the current situation of supplier management of S company,and finds that suppliers have difficulties in price reduction,frequent problems in incoming quality,low timely delivery rate,lack of enthusiasm and other pain points,and in-depth analysis to clarify the root causes.Combined with the actual situation of the enterprise,this thesis explores four measures: supplier development process and classification,supplier quality improvement,supplier relationship management and supplier performance evaluation system.On the other hand,in terms of supplier selection,reconstruct the supplier evaluation process of S company,use analytic hierarchy process to distribute the weight of the indicators of the supplier evaluation system,so as to achieve the purpose of quantitative evaluation of suppliers,and use the quantified supplier evaluation indicators to evaluate the existing suppliers in order to provide optimization and improvement direction for the company’s supplier management.The main innovation of this thesis is to combine the actual production and historical data of s enterprise,use the supplier management theory and methods,and put forward improvement and solutions for business pain points by using the methods of procurement positioning model,supplier perception model,supplier evaluation system and supplier evaluation incentive,which has a certain reference significance for the supplier management of small and medium-sized manufacturing industry.
