A Practical Research On Social Work Intervention In Adolescent Sex Education

The study takes the H community adolescent sex education group as an example,using theories and methods of social work to intervene the adolescent sex education group,to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of the group work practice,the applicability of theories,and the practical advantages of social work in the field of adolescent sex education.Firstly,the study is based on the "Tong Cheng Course-Anhui Women and Children Care Project",and this paper uses questionnaire survey and interviews with adolescents to analyze the needs of adolescent in sex education,which mainly includes: the needs of physiological knowledge,gender identity and self-protection.And then the author designed the group work plan.Secondly,the author selects 10 representative senior primary school adolescents as service objects for group intervention.Under the instruction of rational emotion theory and social learning theory,the author carried out the practice,summarized the process,atmosphere and performance of the group,the skills and reflection of the social workers after each section of the group.The process evaluation and result evaluation are carried out after the group is finished.The former includes the participation of the group members and the self-evaluation of social workers,and the latter through questionnaire of sex education and satisfaction to evaluate social worker and the group.Finally,the author draws conclusion,discusses and reflects result,and put forward suggestions.The research finds that: the problem of adolescent education is prominent;the demand for sex education is obvious;the group work has obvious effect in the intervention of adolescent education;the social work method and theory have significant advantages in adolescent sex education.The discussion and reflection part includes: the continuity of intervention effect,the localization of theories and drawbacks of the research.At the end of the article,three suggestions are put forward: firstly,changing the concept of sex in family and school education,creating an open sex education culture;secondly,improving the professional of social workers and broaden new areas for social workers;thirdly,paying attention to the interaction between social workers and adolescents,and promoting the depth and sustainability in adolescent sex education.
