As an important branch of Chinese museums,Celebrity Museums undertake the tough task of inheriting the spirit of Chinese historical culture.In the new era of cultural development,with the introduction of a series of public cultural service related policies in China,Celebrity Museums have ushered in development opportunities and new challenges.Although Celebrity Museums will welcome rapid development,some problems of public education of it will be exposed,which can't provide better cultural services for the public.This study mainly uses the public goods theory and polycentric governance theory,draws lessons from the new public service theory,and studies the problems existing in the public education of B celebrity museum through case analysis,questionnaire survey and interview.At present,the main problems are: weak publicity of public education,undivided public education objects,lack of public education professionals The service level of public education is backward and the effect of public education doesn't approach its goal.The main reasons for these problems are: the concept of "people-oriented" public education service is not penetrated,museum education has not been included in the national education system,the talent management mechanism is imperfect,the public education evaluation system is not perfect,and the channel for obtaining funds for educational activities is limited.According to the analysis of the problems and causes of public education in celebrity museums,the research holds that we should change the concept of social service and optimize public education services;Strengthen the policy support and guidance;Enrich public education activities and create the system of education evaluation;Improve the talent training system and formulate talent introducing plan;Promote museums to take root in the community and expand the participation of multiple subjects.
