Fusion And Connection ——Based On A Field Survey Of County-level Converged Media Center In A Yi Autonomous County,Yunnan Province

This paper selected the County-level Converged Media Center of N County,a Yi autonomous county in southwestern Yunnan Province,as the research object,Through in-depth field investigation,the real survival and development status of County-level Converged Media Centers in ethnic minority areas is presented.The foothold of the study is to investigate how the Converged Media Centers in N County connect with grassroots people and integrate into social governance.The main content of each chapter is described below: the first chapter is the introduction,which firstly illustrates the origin of researching the issue of County-level Converged Media Center in ethnic minority areas,puts forward the research background,methods,research objectives and significance,then and explains and defines the concepts related to county-level integration media,social governance and community media.The second chapter summarizes the geographical environment,economic conditions,customs of N County,Yunnan Province,then combs the media process of integration of County-level Converged Media Center of N County in detail.The third chapter introduces the current operation status,media products and services of the Media Center in County N and analyzes the problems and deficiencies of County-level Converged Media Center in ethnic minority areas in terms of fundings,talents,audiences,perceptions,and systems.Chapter four takes the perspective of community media and points out the advantages and significance of Media Center of County N as special community media.Chapter five reflects on how the County-level Converged Media Center of N County integrates local resources and connects more people based on the regional reality of the County N's Media Center.Chapter six summarizes,analyzes and discusses the results of field investigation.In the increasingly modern and refined national governance system,County-level Converged Media Center undertakes the important task of “connecting the grassroots,integrating into governance,and serving the masses”.However,in the current construction and development process,County-level Converged Media in ethnic minority areas still face difficulties in business transformation,insufficient funds for integration,shortage of professional talents and lack of institutional regulations.To this end,the author takes the Converged Media Center of N County in Yunnan Province as an example and places the County-level Converged Media in the context of grassroots governance and community media,exploring how County-level Converged Media in ethnic minority areas can break through the "last mile" of grassroots opinion guidance and social governance in the process of integration and transformation.And how information dissemination and public services can coordinate the operation of this special “community” in the county,and how to play a role in the process of integrating resources and services in the county and connecting more people.The aim is to provide a reference for the media in western minority areas to participate in grassroots social governance.
