China is a big agricultural country,and the proportion of farmers in the total population is also the highest.As Mr.Fei Xiaotong said,"The essence of Chinese society is local,and farmers are the grassroots level of Chinese society." In today's mobile Internet era,short video is developing rapidly,and farmers have also joined the ranks of using short video creation.The short video of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" is a form of communication based in rural areas and showing the daily life of farmers as the main content,so that more groups outside rural areas can have a deeper understanding,which is of great significance to the development of China's rural culture and rural revitalization.How to further promote the dissemination and development of rural culture in China has become the focus of social and academic research.From the perspective of communication semiotics,this paper uses the literature research method and text analysis method,and takes the hot "three rural" short video on Tik Tok platform in 2020-2021 as a research sample,specifically from the symbol coding and significance,symbol presentation,lack of short video and improvement strategy.This paper is divided into four chapters: The first chapter combs and expounds the development,communication subject and video classification of short videos of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers";Chapter 2 summarizes the theoretical coding of short videos and the significance of these coding methods;Chapter 3 analyzes the significance of visual and auditory symbols presented in the short video of "agriculture,Rural areas and farmers" and the significance of specific presentation and transmission by using symbol coding,And briefly analyzes the difference between symbol presentation and real rural elements;Chapter 4 Based on the previous analysis of the positive meaning and presentation of symbol coding,After analyzing and explaining the advantages of short videos of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",On the contrary,the shortcomings of the short video symbols of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",And put forward the corresponding promotion strategy.
