Research On The Recognition Algorithm For The Legal Symbol Of Movies In Internet Video Monitoring System

Internet video has become a part of our life and watching foreign movies is a trend nowadays. However, because of the easy access of the internet, lots of content that violates concerning regulations circulates on the internet, including illegally introducing foreign movies, unaudited movies and movies that have no copyrights and so on. The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television has strengthened the monitoring management, passing relative regulations to contain the circulation of these movies mentioned above. The monitoring center shoulders the responsibility to monitor internet videos. The existing system is able to find out the illegal content by text search, submitting for artificial judgment. Well for some programs, the system has no way to discover the illegal content, therefore, a new system that has the judging ability is in demand to supplement the existing system.Excluding the legal foreign movies by recognizing the dragon symbol in movies that hold release license, artificial monitoring can spare more time on discovering suspected content, improving the efficiency. This system can recognize the illegal one by intercepting the symbol, then sorting out, telling the color, segmenting the detail and recognizing the character. First,the system is able to filter and judge video symbols.by doing mathematical operation on the Color histogram and RGB matrix. This thesis creatively comes up with edge recognition algorithm based on the RGB color matrix to pick out the detailed pictures. Meanwhile the system is able to compute the matrix of colored character pattern, use binaryzation to simplify the colored matrix into a binary matrix, selects pixels of the same standard text mold to recognize and compare then makes further judgment. The algorithm is with low computation and high accuracy. Second, based on the method mentioned above, the author puts forward setting up of the monitoring program to supervise foreign videos based on the algorithm, and provide the supporting platform of the system application. Third, the algorithm can be widely used in investigating piracy, the medical image recognition, and other areas of the people's livelihood.Steps of the algorithm have been examined by using digital image processing software, and confirmed by lots of experiments. This method can be applied to the real monitoring system with its high accuracy.
