Due to the loopholes in the current supply chain system,various types of counterfeit integrated circuits have been created.The increasing number of counterfeit and inferior integrated circuits not only endangers the healthy development of the integrated circuit industry,but also poses a security threat to its related industries.At present,the detection technologies of counterfeit and inferior integrated circuits used in the industry include physical detection and electrochemical detection methods.This type of technology is often time-consuming and labor-intensive,and is more suitable for factory sampling.However,detection methods based on embedded circuits,such as PUF and life sensors,are often only aimed at one type of counterfeit chips.The objective of the trustworthy system designed in this thesis is to detect various types of counterfeit integrated circuits,and to provide a faster detection speed,while using the function locking module to limit the performance of counterfeit chips.The trusted system designed in this thesis is rooted in the supply chain process,including two system workflows,genuine chip activation and genuine chip verification.The system includes three main parts: embedded circuit,main system controller and chip information database.In the activation process,the system mainly completes two steps of embedded circuit writing and database writing.In the verification process,the system mainly judges the source of the chip by comparing the read data of the embedded circuit with the data stored in the database.The embedded circuit mainly includes function locking circuit,life sensor,AES encryption circuit and anti-fuse memory.The software system mainly includes the database and the main system controller.The main work of this thesis is to complete the architecture composition design and workflow design of the trusted system,as well as the design and verification of the software part of the system and the encryption circuit design and verification in the hardware part.Finally,the working test of the system is realized in FPGA.This system realizes the anti-counterfeiting detection of the chip through the chip ID and life detection inside the circuit and the database information comparison on the software side,which is safer and more perfect than only one detection method.
