For a long time, the unlimited demand of library users for resources is an important driving force for libraries to actively explore and innovate. The traditional library integration system ILS can no longer meet the readers' needs of a single library, especially library consortia, and is gradually being replaced by a new generation of library service platform LSP.As a non-profit organization aiming at resource sharing and mutual benefit, library consortium should not only pay attention to technological innovation and keep up with the trend of system renewal, but also devote itself to relying on the new generation library service platform, adjusting its own structure, gathering innovative resources of member libraries, realizing function optimization and achieving the goal of win-win sharing. The Alma/Primo system of Ex Libris company allows the members of cross-regional alliances to deeply develop and share the collection resources on the same platform,so that the library consortia can comprehensively analyze all the collection resources of the alliance, highlight the characteristics, optimize the structure, make the resource allocation more reasonable, and deepen the inter-library cooperation.in terms of performance and sales volume,Alma ranks first among similar LSP products.Primo system developed by Ex Libris is a user-oriented discovery service, which provides centralized and personalized access to all resources.Primo system enables the staff, students and researchers of the Union Library to find the physical, electronic and digital resources they need more simply and quickly, provide users with direct end-to-end services, and maximize the value of library collections. On the basis of combing the practical cases of resource sharing among library consortia at home and abroad, this paper selects the Orbis Cascade Alliance(OCA),which has 39 official member libraries and uses a unified system platform across three major American States,as the research object. This paper explores that after the traditional library integration system ILS with scattered members migrated to the unified new generation library service platform Alma and Primo, the alliance carried out alliance work around the new library service platform, implemented the Council management mode, set up six teams, and managed alliance affairs and resources in a unified way.Based on Alma/Primo system,it vigorously carried out resource sharing practice projects, such as PDA joint procurement, interlibrary loan, distributed print storage,Northwest Digital Archives and direct delivery, etc.,to achieve "one collection" According to the successful experience of structural rectification, management co-construction and resource sharing after the migration of the Orbis Cascade Alliance, this paper puts forward to break the barriers, unify the platform and deepen the cooperation in an all-round way.Clarify the system, operate scientifically and stabilize the foundation of the alliance;Overall coordination, joint support and optimization of resource allocation;Cohesion and outreach, retaining characteristics and actively seeking cooperation; The five enlightenments of service-oriented,innovative ideas and meeting readers' requirements provide reference for library consortia in China to choose systems, build platforms, reorganize institutions and share resources.
