The Study On The Construction Of University City Library Alliance In China

Since 1999, along with the enrollment of college entrance, high education in China has shown a great development and prosperity in the new situation. Among them, in order to promote the sharing of resources,the construction of university city led by the government is an especially bright spot.Therefore, the construction of university city,at the begining,undertake a special mission, that is, large-scale development efforts to explore how to achieve the organization and modus operandi of innovation to achieve the promotion of high degree of sharing of teaching resources (teachers, teaching space and facilities, literature resources and laboratory) high education in the university city colleges and universities.Libraries as a shared element, in the aspect of resource-sharing has begun a long-term exploration since 1950s. Therefore,librarie should play its first experience strengths in the cconstruction and development processment of the university,to provide experience for reference .Based on tIn the investigation and study on abroad information,anddata, the paper based on the status of the building of our university uity library consortium combined with foreign university uity library union features derive useful lessons or experience for references, try to conduct systematic research about the construction of of university city,s library union in China at the present.First, the paper explained the concept of the university city and its basic characteristics of university city; and explained the basic connotation of library consortia ,to reveal the theoretical basis for library alliance and summarized the basic characteristics of library alliance, to provide theoretical preparation for the university city library .Then, the article introduced the concept of university city library union, and systematically analyzed the inherent advantages and of the necessity of China buliding university city library alliance; and then, objectively analyzed the present stage of China's university city library alliance ,pointed out the problems.Finally, the author discussed the building of our university city library consortium should strenthen organizational construction, operation mechanisms, servicing platform construction, and ensuring systems to promote the implementation.
