Research On Collective Action Of Network Under Interactive Ritual Chain

With the change of Internet media technology,communication between audiences has been transferred from reality to online community,and gradually established and developed.The young people born in the 1990 s actively use social media to make their voices heard,and their fields are constantly expanding.In recent years,they have gradually moved to the middle of the field of public opinion,playing an important role in the dissemination of public events,and gaining the attention of netizens and mainstream media,which proves that this group cannot be underestimated.With the upgrading and iteration of new media technology,the public can make their voices heard through social media platforms and interact with others under hot topics.Online collective action relying on new media has exerted a strong influence.Based on Collins interactive ritual chain theory,this paper will explore the new characteristics and changes of interactive ritual of collective action when the post-90 s youth group becomes the main body of collective action on the Internet.Specifically,this paper selects the representative event of youth group participating in Internet collective action in recent years,namely the collective action of youth group going to war in 2019,and discusses whether this collective action in2019 constitutes an interactive ritual chain from the perspective of interactive ritual chain theory.What is the mobilization mechanism of the participation from the small fan group to the larger netizen group? What are the results of this collective action with fans as the main participants? What are the deficiencies of the current development of network collective action? How to make the Internet collective action better development?This paper argues that in action,participants create group sharing symbols,strengthen group unity and form interactive ritual chains with the accumulation and sharing of emotions as the dynamic mechanism.However,behind this action,the shortcomings of network collective action are revealed.Due to the rapid transformation of network hot spots,long-term effects cannot be formed.In addition,as the participants of collective action are scattered,the group will produce some irrational behaviors under the emotional infection,which will aggravate the spread of extreme emotions on the Internet.Finally,group pressure can disrupt the purpose of action.Therefore,all parties should work together to strengthen the governance of the Internet space;Mainstream media should play a leading role in public opinion;The mainstream discourse system should actively guide the discourse expression of youth so that they can exert group power and participate in collective action better.
