| The rapid development of information technologies has drawn more and more attention to how the business process and information development in traditional industries can be deeply integrated.State-owned enterprises possess a large number of assets, with clear advantages in the leasing business of real estate. However, problems in developing IT-based asset management have gradually surfaced. For instance,Group A’s complex form and ownership of state-owned assets, huge asset management data and different statistical standards have led to difficulty in clearly identifying the boundary of asset management, low efficiency in asset operation management and information islands. In such a context,Group A should launch an asset management information system, through which the group will be able to integrate its abilities and keep the assets under control, hence solving the current problems. In the research on project schedule management of Group A’s asset management information system,it is found that the actual project progress is behind schedule, the reasons for which include unreasonable project scheduling, insufficient attention to constrained resources, and lacks of scientific schedule control methods and restrictions on human factors. In light of these problems, this research, after comparing traditional project schedule management methods, has adopted the Critical Chain Project Schedule Management Method proposed by Dr.Goldratt based on the Theory of Constraints. With this method,an implementation framework of critical chain project schedule management will be built according to main ideas of critical chain application. The characteristics of Group A’s asset management information system will be considered for the optimization of schedule management.A buffer will be set through introducing elastic coefficients affected by resource tensity and risk preference coefficient. And project progress will be monitored with tristimulus methods while considering the actual progress. All these measures will contribute to reducing the time for project construction, further implementing the critical chain project schedule management method in Group A’s information construction projects of the same kind. |
