In today's information age,software technology has achieved unprecedented development,and the software industry is the core of the information industry and the basic and strategic industry of the information society.The software industry can not only create considerable economic benefits,but also play an important role in promoting the adjustment and optimization of the economic structure,the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries,and the comprehensive construction of a well-off society due to its powerful penetration and radiation effects.With the promulgation of national support policies,a large number of software companies have entered the market.Competition in the software market has become increasingly fierce.The profit margins of software companies have also been declining.Software companies are facing unprecedented competitive pressures.In order to survive and develop,software companies pay more attention to the optimization and integration of their own resources,and constantly strengthen project management.Project cost management has become an indispensable management tool for software companies,which can effectively help companies save costs,improve efficiency,and enhance competitiveness.The thesis takes HZ company A bureau measurement management software upgrade project as the research object.Through analyzing the status quo of HZ company's project cost management,it is found that HZ company has inaccurate project cost estimation,incomplete project cost budget,untimely project cost control and company organization The problem of imperfect structure.The paper applies the work breakdown structure method and the earned value analysis method to the cost management of the A bureau's measurement and management software upgrade project,which is conducive to accurately estimating the project cost,effectively controlling the project cost,and solving the cost schedule control in the past project management.The phenomenon of separation enables the implementation of project cost responsibilities.This article first briefly introduces the related concepts of project cost,earned value analysis method and work breakdown structure method,and provides a theoretical basis for the specific application of these two methods in HZ company's practice;then it analyzes the HZ company's project cost management The status quo,and pointed out its problems in many aspects of project cost management,and the reasons for these problems;then,taking Bureau A's measurement and management software upgrade project as an example,using the work structure decomposition method to refine the work to accurately estimate the project cost,Then prepare budget costs and use earned value analysis to optimize project cost control.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions that HZ company should improve on project cost management,so that HZ company can strengthen project cost management,so as to effectively control and reduce the company's cost.The project cost has achieved the effect of reducing costs and increasing profits and increasing core competitiveness.
