Research Scrum Application In DDC Order System Project

With the Internet has become a china national strategy, there are more and more people to participate in the Internet-related business startups. A large number of Internet companies which came into being. The "Internet+" concept makes many traditional industries also began to build a software development team. This led to the development staff shortages, making a large number of software development teams too small.Scrum is an iterative and incremental agile software development framework for managing product development and project schedule management. Many software companies use it and gain a lot of achievements. At present, research focuses on using this method in the mature software company.There is only a few research for using scrum in Internet start-ups of small-scale teams.With the research on the scrum applied in DDC order system project, this paper proposes a method for controlling the project schedule applies to Internet start-ups of small-scale teams.The following points describe the improved method which combines the features of the software development.Firstly, Scrum method will be shortened to two weeks. Secondly, the level of WBS detail has been controlled to a work package per person per day. Finally, the method used to get earned value in the earned value analysis has been simplified.
