While Tik Tok has an increasing number of users in the global market,regulatory inquiries from various countries,media reports,and government questions about data security are also increasing.At the same time,in terms of laws and regulations,various regions of the world have successively introduced personal data protection laws.For overseas products,it is necessary to comply with the basic principles and important provisions of these laws and regulations.As a key part of national laws and regulations,products require strict protection strategies when providing services to young users,such as prohibiting excessive collection of equipment and user information,and providing product features that need to protect young users and not allowing third parties to share young age data and so on.In order to solve the above problems,the kids mode function implemented in this thesis takes into consideration the five aspects of collection,transmission,storage,usage,and export/destruction of the entire life cycle of the data of young users.On the basis of ensuring that young users have a sound product experience,we improve the protection of the data of young users to deal with the outside world's doubts about the functions of the product's young age protection.The entrance of the system is mainly distributed on the mobile terminal and the web terminal.Based on the premise of ensuring the alignment of the functions of the two terminals,the function of protecting the young data will be gathered on the service side to avoid affecting the existing functions.And in the case where the user does not perceive,we will complete functions about protection of young age data.Throughout the data life cycle,the product provides comprehensive protection capabilities,such as age authentication,data collection minimization,storage isolation,access control,data export,data destruction and other functions.The entire kids mode is divided into kids' data collection module,kids' data transmission module,kids' data storage module,kids' data usage module,and kids' data export/destruction module.There is no strong dependency between these modules,so that the functional modules can be developed in parallel,and continue to be expanded and upgraded in subsequent iterations.Based on the self-developed micro-service framework,the kids mode improves the overall stability and response speed of online services through the design of Gorm management storage layer,Redis cache and My SQL,and uses the message queue to ensure the success rate of the request.Develop and deploy offline management platforms and tools to discover and manage possible risk events.After the kids mode was launched,all child users among the product users have been connected to the mode,and the number of feedback incidents related to the protection of young people has dropped significantly,fully verifying the effectiveness of the kids mode.After the system is running online,it not only greatly reduces the labor cost,but also engages in three parts : isolation of children's users,control of access data in the event,and risk discovery afterwards.It improves the experience of younger users and ensure the privacy of younger users' data.Through the discovery of risk events,the management and control capabilities of each module are continuously optimized,so that the overall management and control of the kids mode is gradually comprehensive.Therefore,the system has good versatility and scalability in system design,and has high practical value for compliance businesses.
