Data Mining Technology And Its Applications In Plm

At present, data mining has become a hotspot in database field. It can explore and analyze a large amount of data, and dig out significative information to offer proper suggestion for future decision. PLM (Product Life-Cycle Management), a kind of IT strategy that is extremely potential in commerce is rising in recent years. It's significant to corporation's informationization, especially to the manufacturing. Applying data mining technology in PLM can promote the PLM's competitiveness very well, and accelerate the corporation's informationization.In this case, the KDD (Knowledge Discovery in Database) and some methods of knowledge discovery based on basic data mining theory are studied, and some data mining techniques and its application are construed in this thesis. Then, this thesis focuses on key techniques and methods of applying data mining in PLM.After that, the solving scheme of applying the data mining technology in PLM based on CRISP-DM (CRoss-Industry Standard Process—Data Mining) is designed, and the attribute construct method based Max-Min standard and clustering analysis method based Radial Based Function Nerve-Network are adopted to resolve data-pretreatment in this thesis. In addition, based on PLM's data analysis operation, the associated rules mining method is chosen to analyze the potential factor of the substandard product appearance, the clustering analysis arithmetic is applied to construe the relation between the logistics data of the products and products profit, and the decision tree arithmetic based information entropy is used to analyze and predict the customer's latent energy of value for enterprises. Finally, according to data the method and thought of applying these data mining technology into PLM's business is explained.At last, basing on advanced software engineer technology and OOA/OOD (Object Oriented Analysis/Design) the PLM data mining system is designed and realizationized, and the system structure and modules of PLM data mining system are depicted in detail.
