A Study Of Personal Utopia In Campus Youth Drama

It has been thirty-two years since the emergence of campus youth dramas in our country.There have been only a handful of campus youth dramas in the first 27 years,and more than 90 campus youth dramas have appeared in the period from 2016 to2020,there has been a blowout in five years.There is a reason behind the blowout development,which is worth studying.As a kind of popular culture,campus youth dramas provide false satisfaction to the audience.The false satisfaction comes from the utopia shaped by campus youth dramas,replacing the audience's dissatisfaction in reality with ideals.This paper takes text analysis as the main research method to analyze what the utopia is shaped by campus youth dramas.In the process of research,it is found that the utopia created by campus youth dramas is not a holistic social utopia,but appears in the form of individual fantasy.The utopia of this individual fantasy form takes the heroine as the main body in the campus youth drama.Campus youth dramas have created a personal utopia around the heroine.This utopia has three characteristics: First,the interpersonal relationship in the utopia.In campus youth dramas,the heroine's interpersonal relationship is more utopian.The relationship between the heroine and other characters is not a two-way effort.The other roles in the play are functional and appear in order to meet the needs of the heroine.The second is the prevailing rule in utopia,the heroine of the campus youth drama is almost ordinary without beauty,family background and excellent academic performance.The character setting prevents the heroine from achieving success through other conditions.In campus youth dramas,the ordinary heroines almost all get love,excellent academic performance,etc.Kindness of quality,become the campus youth drama heroine utopian general rule.The third is the low-risk world in utopia.In campus youth dramas,the heroine encounters various risks,but the difficulty of resolving the risks in the drama is relatively low,so that it can almost turn into good luck,as if living in In a world where there is no danger.The utopia created by campus youth dramas is not a holistic and social utopia as described by utopian thinkers,but a utopian strategy in the form of individual fantasy.It only meets the needs of some audiences rather than the entire audience;the false fantasy it creates satisfied the audience,but also immersed the audience in false satisfaction,gradually losing the ability to resist and think,not only the ideal social picture has disappeared,only the personal utopian encounter in the realistic framework.
