Regional media development refers to media development that is not limited to a geographical area,but relies on the central city,showing diversified integration,and accompanied by strategic alliances among media.With the continuous development of contemporary regional media,its influence and radiation are gradually increasing,and it is dovetailing with local administration,economy and society in many ways,and even reshaping the communication pattern of city image.This paper takes the development of regional media in Hezhou City,Guangxi Province as the main research object,roots in local county and municipal media,and takes its strategy of empowering local city image enhancement as the main research topic.Based on the analysis and reasoning of the literature and the data obtained from the questionnaire survey,the "Dongruong 1+1 Large-scale Theme Series" is used as a representative case to explore how local media at the county and city level can help improve the city's image and summarize its development strategies.The paper not only provides a new theoretical reference for the development of urban communication power,regionalization of local media and urban image communication,but also provides a theoretical basis for the regionalization development of other local radio and television stations in the same situation.The content of the paper is divided into the following five parts:Part I:Introduction,which describes the research background,motivation and purpose of the study,and significance,and after reviewing the relevant literature,discovers and identifies the innovation and research methods of this paper.The second part:analysis of the current situation of the regionalization development of Hezhou Radio and Television Station,to find out where the regional development dilemma lies,and to prepare for the later targeted analysis of its improvement strategy.The third part:Based on the 5W model,we choose the "Dongrong 1+1" large-scale thematic reporting activities as the main analysis case,and on the basis of the specific analysis of representative media activities,combined with the feedback from the questionnaire survey on the effect of the activities,we propose that the deepening development of regional media in the three aspects of channels,contents and platforms will have an effect on the improvement of the city's image.The effect will be achieved.Part ?:Based on the results of the case study in Part ?,expand and summarize the strategies of regional development of Hezhou Radio and Television Station to empower city image enhancement in the three aspects of channels,contents and platforms.Part ?:Summarize the relationship between regional media development and city image enhancement,and consider the updated strategies of regional media development at county and city level to empower city image enhancement and the outlook on future media development.Based on the above analysis and sorting,the study concludes that:the development of regional media can enhance the communication of city image and can promote the development of regional media while enhancing the city image through three aspects:expanding media channels,focusing on communication contents and opening up various media platforms.
