Research On The Influence Of Regional Innovation Capability On The Layout Of China's IC Industry

The integrated circuit industry is a basic and strategic industry that guarantees the healthy and stable development of the country's society and economy and promotes the progress of the information industry.After more than 60 years of development,China's IC industry has made great achievements and breakthroughs,but there is still a big gap compared with foreign advanced technology.At present,my country's integrated circuit industry is changing from a rapid development to a high-quality development stage.The rational layout of the industry and the promotion of industrial structure reform have an important impact on the leapfrog development of my country's integrated circuit industry.Innovation as a key factor driving the sustainable and healthy development of the industry has received more and more attention.As the integrated circuit industry is a technology,capital,and talent-intensive high-tech industry,the strength of a region's innovation capability has affected its industrial layout.And development is an important factor that cannot be ignored.Therefore,this article explores the influence of regional innovation capabilities on the layout of my country's integrated circuit industry,and has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the rational layout of my country's integrated circuit industry and realizing overtaking in corners.This article first reviews the relevant research and defines the connotation of the research object.Based on industrial location selection theory,industrial life cycle theory and leading industry selection theory,it analyzes other factors that may affect the layout of my country's integrated circuit industry.Then,it summarizes and combs the development of my country's integrated circuit industry,divides the development of integrated circuit industry in my country into five stages,and analyzes the development and layout of my country's integrated circuit industry from the perspective of industrial chain and region.Secondly,a regional innovation capability evaluation index system including eight secondary indicators was constructed from the three aspects of innovation subject,regional innovation input and regional innovation output.The time-series global principal component method was used to evaluate 22 provinces in my country from 2011 to 2019.The innovation ability of the year was measured,and the results showed that during the measurement period,the regional innovation ability of each province has been improved.On the whole,the regional innovation ability of the provinces in the southeast coast is stronger than the inland provinces such as the central and western regions,and the provinces The gap in regional innovation capabilities has been increasing year by year.Finally,this article empirically analyzes the impact of regional innovation capabilities on the layout of my country's integrated circuit industry,and the results found that: regional innovation capabilities have a significant positive impact on the layout of my country's integrated circuit industry.Among the control variables,the level of economic development and externalities affect the layout of the integrated circuit industry.There is a positive impact,while the impact of foreign direct investment on the layout of the integrated circuit industry is negative,and the impact of human capital on the layout of the integrated circuit industry is not significant.Finally,based on the regression results,policy recommendations are put forward for the future development of my country's integrated circuit industry: accelerate the construction of regional innovation ability,and provide a good innovation environment for the development of IC industry;accelerate the construction of regional economic development,provide a good business environment for enterprises and build a growth stage for talents;optimize the spatial layout of the industrial chain to promote the healthy development of the IC industry;strengthen the cooperation of IC industry chain,and give full play to the industrial agglomeration effect.
