Obtaining high added value at the high end of the industrial chain is a necessary way to get rid of "low-end locking".Different links in the integrated circuit industry chain have different technical requirements and R&D needs.The research and development cooperation after embedding in the industrial chain has not been discussed.From the perspective of the industrial chain,this article establishes an integrated circuit industry R&D cooperation network,analyzes the characteristics of the network size,small world,scale-free characteristics and node influence range before and after the embedded industrial chain,and analyzes the network breadth and depth of the enterprise.Study the impact of innovation performance and the moderating role of technological diversification.The purpose is to reveal the differences of R&D cooperation network characteristics and R&D cooperation characteristics before and after the integrated circuit industry is embedded in the industrial chain,to explore how the characteristics of the R&D cooperation network embedded in the industrial chain have an impact on the innovation performance of enterprises.To make suggestions on the enhancement of industrial competitiveness,but also provide a reference for the research and development investment of the country and enterprises and the strategic decision-making of high-level enterprises.It was found that the development of the integrated circuit industry has obvious characteristics of value chain R&D cooperation,and it is centered on the cooperation network of fixed core enterprises.The core nodes in the network have a significant impact on industrial evolution,but China is in the integrated circuit industry chain R&D cooperation network No impact yet.Research on the impact of the breadth and depth of R&D cooperation networks on the innovation performance of enterprises from the perspective of the integrated circuit industry chain shows that,regardless of whether embedded in the industrial chain,the breadth and depth of the R&D cooperation networks of integrated circuit industries have a positive impact on enterprise innovation performance,but the technology is diverse There is a difference in the role of regulation before and after embedding into the industrial chain:In the overall R&D cooperation network of the industrial chain,the diversification of technology positively regulates the impact of breadth and width on the innovation performance of the en terprise;Technological diversification positively regulates the impact of breadth on enterprise innovation performance,and has no effect on the relationship bet ween depth and innovation performance.Upstream of the industrial chain,technology diversification has no regulatory effect on breadth and depth on innovation performance.This shows that regardless of whether it is embedded in the industry chain,more frequent R&D cooperation with more partners will enhance innovation,but companies can develop technology when they conduct cross-industry chain R&D cooperation,or midstream companies conduct R&D cooperation in this link.Diversification strategies to enhance the impact of breadth and breadth on performance,but upstream companies should not invest too much in increasing technology diversification when conducting R&D cooperation in th is link,because this will not have a boosting effect on performance.
