Research On The Innovation Capability Of China's Integrated Circuit Industry

The integrated circuit industry is the core of the modern information industry,and the focus of the international competition in high-tech industry.The innovation in the integrated circuit industry is not only the internal demand for the overall development of the industry,but also the inevitable choice under the external market competition.Based on the relevant research results at home and abroad,this paper evaluates the technological innovation capability of China's integrated circuit industry by literature research and empirical analysis.The article first elaborates on the status quo of the development of China's integrated circuit industry,and analyzed the main problems of the development of China's integrated circuit industry.Then,from the four aspects of personnel input,R&D expenditure,patent application and authorization,and industrialization of technical achievements,the status quo of technological innovation in China's integrated circuit industry is analyzed,and the major factors affecting the technological innovation in the integrated circuit industry is briefly cited.In the part of empirical research,this paper combines the theory and the status quo analysis to establish an evaluation index system for the technological innovation capability of the integrated circuit industry,and uses the data envelopment analysis method and the principal component analysis method to conduct the technological innovation capability and its influence factors of the integrated circuit industry.The empirical analysis summarizes the trend and level of the innovation development in the integrated circuit industry,and explores the main factors thatpromote the development of the technological innovation capability of the integrated circuit industry.The research results shows that China's integrated circuit industry has shown a good development trend overall,and the efficiency and the ability of technological innovation has continued to develop.However,there are still many problems,such as lack of professionals,lack of continuous capital investment,backward core technologies,low self-sufficiency of high-end products,and weak resource integration capabilities.R&D investment is the most important factor that promotes technological innovation in the integrated circuit industry,and patent applications and authorizations are also effective ways to protect technological innovation achievements.Finally,based on the research results,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to promote the development of the technological innovation capability of the integrated circuit industry.
