In recent years,driven by 5G applications and the strong demand in emerging applications,such as IOT,autonomous-driving and artificial intelligence,the global semiconductor industry has grown rapidly.With the increase in demand,the competitive situation of market environment has become increasingly intensified,and the requirements of customers have shown a diversified trend.Although Company A is the largest semiconductor agency in the world,its original process of sales order management led to complex procedure and low efficiency of delivery,which have hindered the company's development to a certain extent.At the same time,although the number of customers has increased,the profits have fallen,inventory has remained high,and cash flow has become tighter.In order to alleviate this problem,company A invested heavily in launching the ERP system in 2014,expecting the advanced system could solve the problems.However,the effect was poor.The ERP system is designed in accordance with the original sales order management process.To improve the operating efficiency of the enterprise,the existing process must be changed,with the non-value-added parts deleted and more suitable new ones added.Based on the domestic and international researching status of Process Reengineering theory,this thesis takes company A as the research object,reviewing and analyzing the process of customer order receiving and shipment.The case-analysis method,production strategy method and analytic hierarchy process method are leveraged to carry out the qualitive and quantitative analysis on the process of customer order receiving and figure out the key factors related to production strategy choice,providing the basic data for implementing new process.The shipment efficiency has been raised by problem analysis and new process change.The new process reduces labor cost and risk,improving customer satisfaction and greatly compressing the cycle-time.For the sake of successful implementation,the supporting actions have been provided in terms of new project team design,corporate culture construction,capital guarantee and information system.The research in this thesis has strong practical reference significance,and this research can promote the better development of Company A.
