The appearance and application of 24-hour self-service libraries have promoted the nationwide reading.As the extension of the service function of the city library,the library is spread over every corner of the city in the form of a service network,achieving the "door-todoor service".Today,compact has become the standard of modern life rhythm,so for the convenience of book has become an important indicator of whether modern humans reading,and the appearance of the self-service library and application for 24 hours,through its selfservice and the two big characteristics,living close to the user to solve this problem provides a lot of help,Therefore,the service content and quality of 24-hour self-service library directly determine its acceptance degree among urban citizens.This topic studies the service mode and user experience of the 24-hour self-service library in Guangzhou,and constructs a new service mode of the 24-hour self-service library by using relevant theories and methods of service design,and designs the specific contact points.Based on the relevant theories of service design,this paper develops the design process framework and design tools for the application of service design concept to the 24-hour selfservice library.Firstly,the characteristics,characteristics,functional modules,key technologies,service contents and modes of Guangzhou 24-hour self-service library are understood through literature research method.Through questionnaire survey and user interviews,field research method such as mining 24-hour self-service library service process and the problems in the using process,typical role model is established with the tools of service design,and map the user journey from mining the user demand,output design optimized guangzhou 24-hour self-service library service blueprint,And guide the next step of product level design practice.Based on the service blueprint,the user contacts are summarized.In design practice,the design is carried out from the four directions of the 24-hour self-service library service machine,the terminal interface of the service machine,the 24-hour self-service library microspace,and the mobile terminal We Chat service number.Design mainly from the following four aspects to enhance the user experience the service process: 1.Improved the former experience,service users by increasing the number contact mobile client service,let users to self-service library network before 24 hours,understand the network running status in advance,the location,the type of books,library efficiency,improve the service process.2.The self-service machine was redesigned to increase the number of books stored and the interactive way of borrowing and returning books was redesigned so that users could select and read books conveniently and quickly.3.Effectively utilize and layout the 24-hour self-service library space,which is divided into four areas: book selection area,rest reading area,self-service operation area and book reservation area.4.The function of booking books is added,so that users can select books from the wide map and deliver them to the nearest network,and the service can go to pick up books.At the end of the paper,the products are connected in the form of user service situation to better highlight the difference between service and user experience after design optimization and before design optimization.Finally,through the satisfaction evaluation questionnaire,to verify the feasibility of the scheme.
